Portable version

Now you can have all the advantages of ndxCards™...no matter where you go! The software is available in a portable 1 GB USB drive. You can use computers at the library, other public places, or anyone else's computer. It makes it easier for you to make the most of the software even when you use more than one computer (desktop, notebook, etc.). You can use the USB version even on computers that don't let you install software (e.g. at work) because the software is entirely contained on the USB drive.

The Portable version has all the fundtions and features of the Superset version. software and the data stay on the USB drive, using the computer to do the processing. Any temporary files created in the computer will subsequently be deleted as part of the Windows cleanup process for that computer. To backup the data, simply use the computer's hard drive or another removable media such as a CD/R or another USB drive. It is always a good practice to backup your data regularly.

If you are already an ndxCards user, use the Upgrade from Superset to USB item if you have a Superset license now or Upgrade to USB item if you have Academic or Professional license. Please note that this is an upgrade and after the upgrade, you only have the portable license, not 2 licenses.

What is the size of the USB?

It is a 1 GB drive with memory by Samsung.

Do I install ndxCards in the computer where I use the USB version?

What computers does the USB version support?

ndxCards is currently a Windows only software. This version will run on Windows 98/2000/XP and Vista.

How is the license handled?

You can only use the software from that USB. If the software is copied to another USB, or to a desktop computer, it will not function.
